Not sure how I’m going to read all of this with exams coming up, but I’m counting on Dumbledore giving me one of those nifty turner necklaces…
1. Nobody by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
If you’ve read Raised by Wolves, this is pretty self explanatory.
I had a bad case of fan-girling when I first saw it Goodreads, but then I forgot about it because it took so friggin long to come out! Plus, it sounds a little like Nikita.
2. Boundless by Cynthia Hand
MUST. PICK. CHRISTIAN.
3. Prodigy by Marie Lu
Legend was good. An that was just June and Day hating on each other. Now we’ve got June and Day working as a team? Oh, Prodigy.
4. Unremembered by Jessica Brody
Been meaning to read this for a while, but I just couldn’t bring myself to get hooked on yet another author.
5. The Golden Lily by Richelle Mead
I’m counting on Dimitri to make this better than Bloodlines… although I hear that’s not going to be the case.
6. Apollyon by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Oh my god, Seth, Aiden, Seth, Aiden, Seth.. AIDEN.
Elixir was pretty disappointing, but as far as Alex is concerned, I really want to see how the Apollyons are going to battle it out. And I just love Apollo…
7. The Essence by Kimberly Derting
I think Queen Sabara is possibly the creepiest old lady on this planet, Snow White’s stepmother included (which is saying quite a lot already), so when I realized that the second installment of The Pledge is going to be about Queen Sabara possessing Charlie, I just decided that it’s better left unsought on the Amazon bookshelves..
8. An Abundance of Katherines by John Green
I hope my expectations aren’t too high for this… it better rock my world as much as The Fault In Our Stars did, or there’s gonna be one more angry blogger in the blogosphere.
9. Delirium by Lauren Oliver
10.The Rise of Nine by Pittacus Lore
I wasn’t too impressed with Power of Six (mainly due to an shockingly-whiny Seven) but apparently it gets a lot better with Nine and Eight in the scene..
